But you have next year too. I made sure I had time for everything I wanted and needed to do… It IS a carnival ride. I did an extra assignment and half the class showed up.. It was night and a girl heard a weird noise in the forest .. everyone ran screaming back to the castle. Needless to say, I was the only one still out there who wasn’t scared and got the assignment done.  

Sounds impressive! I hope you got extra points for that! I would have probably run out of the forest, too, though. My self preservation levels are just too high and the forest is just… Really scary.

You should really have. Or followed my lead. Because Runes might be the end of you. Isn’t it an elective .. ? I chose Care of Magical Creatures in place of Arithmancy. Last minute swap saved my life. 

I thought it might look good on my resume for post-graduation, but I’m really starting to regret the decision. Care of Magical Creatures sounds like a carnival ride in comparison.

Runes.. Yeah, are you doing numbers or words.. like the alphabet? I know like none of the words. I think I know some of the symbols.. but the numbers thing.. I didn’t take Runes this year. I took too many other electives. You know the numbers right? Demiguise.. Unicorn.. Graphhorn.. And so on? I much prefer Latin to the Germanic languages. Actually I prefer neither over English.. But you know…  This all sounds too confusing. Even from my own mouth!

Oh Merlin, I’m doing words. This is going to be awful. I should have climbed into your boat and and decided against taking Runes this year.
